Who we are
Airborne Particles LLC (“we”, “us”) runs a subscription aircraft rental club at Stennis International Airport, 7250 Stennis Airport Road, Kiln, MS 39556. This policy explains what information we collect through abparticles.com, what we do with it, and the choices you have.
What we collect
When you apply for a subscription
We collect what you enter on the form. Only your name, email address and phone number are required; everything else is up to you.
- Your name, email address and phone number
- Your pilot certificate type and number, ratings and total flight hours, if you provide them
- Your medical class and its expiration date, if you provide them
- Your renter’s insurance carrier and policy number, if you provide them
- How you found us, if you tell us
- Anything else you choose to tell us in the notes field
When you send us a question
Your name, your contact details (an email address or phone number), what kind of pilot you are and your message.
When you ask about putting your aircraft on our rental line
Your name, email address and phone number; your aircraft’s make, model and year, its tail number and where it’s based; and your message.
When you ask about teaching with us as a flight instructor
Your name, email address and phone number; your certificates; where you teach; roughly how many students you have; and your message.
How you found us
Each of these website forms also sends us how you found us, and the website or link that brought you here (referrer and campaign tags). That means the address of the page you came from, any campaign tags in the link you followed (such as utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign), whether you arrived by clicking one of our Google ads, and the first page you landed on. Your browser keeps this in its session storage while you visit, and it reaches us only if you send one of our forms.
When you fill in the form on one of our Google ads
Google passes us what you entered: your name, email address and phone number, and your answers to the form’s questions. We store it the same way as applications and use it only to reply to you.
When you visit the website
We use Google Analytics to understand how people find and use the site. It records things like the pages you view, roughly where you’re visiting from, your device and browser type, and whether you sent one of our forms or tapped our phone number or email link. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. We don’t use it to identify you personally. Our public pages also load Google Ads tags, which use cookies to tell us whether someone who clicked one of our ads went on to apply or get in touch, so we can see which ads are worth running.
When you contact us
When you contact us by email or phone, we keep what you send us so we can reply.
How we use it
- To review your application and verify your certificate, medical and insurance
- To answer your question or inquiry
- To contact you about your application, your subscription and your flights
- To set up your account in our scheduling and billing system once you’re approved
- To keep our fleet safe and meet our insurance and regulatory obligations
- To understand how the website is used, which ads and links bring people to it, and make it better
We don’t sell your information, and we don’t use it for advertising beyond measuring how well the website and our Google ads work. We don’t send automatic replies to the addresses typed into our question and inquiry forms; a person here reads each one and replies.
Who we share it with
We share your information only with the service providers we need to run the club:
- Our scheduling system provider, which runs the system where subscribers book flights and are billed. When we approve your application, your contact details and the certificate, medical and insurance details you’ve given us are added to your account there so you can book flights and be billed. Questions and inquiries aren’t sent there.
- Our web host, which stores the website and what you send through its forms on its servers, and our email provider, which delivers messages between us.
- Google, which provides Google Analytics, Google Ads and the fonts used on this site. Loading the fonts sends your IP address to Google. If you use the form on one of our ads, Google collects your answers first and then passes them to us.
We may also share information when the law requires it, for example in response to a subpoena or an FAA or NTSB inquiry, or to protect the safety of our subscribers, aircraft and the public.
How long we keep it
We keep your application and account information for as long as you’re a subscriber, and afterwards for as long as we need it for our records, insurance and legal obligations. If your application isn’t approved, you can ask us to delete it at any time, and the same goes for questions and inquiries you send through the website and anything you sent us through the form on one of our ads.
How we protect it
Applications, questions and inquiries from the website, and what you send through the form on our ads, are stored on our web host’s servers in a location that isn’t publicly reachable, and only our staff can view them, behind a staff sign-in. No method of storing or sending information online is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect what you share with us.
Your choices
- See, correct or delete your information: email us at info@abparticles.com and we’ll take care of it, unless we’re required to keep something.
- Cookies and analytics: you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The website will still work.
Children
This website isn’t directed at children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we’ll update this page and the date at the top.
